ADT Outdoor Dome Camera Pro 1080P

The ADT Outdoor Dome Camera Pro 1080P is a WiFi Camera like the other ADT Pulse and Command Cameras and does 1080P video. Easily add this Outdoor HD Mini Dome Camera to your ADT system. If you have less than 8 cameras on Control and 10 on Pulse and if you have at least one camera already. It does not come with a wire so you will want to get one here.

This dome camera requires only a power source and a wireless connection to the WiFi router. The MDC can easily be added following the installation wizard and instructions. (the Y cable that is attached to the camera has two wires for power and a cat5/cat6 connection. If you want to install the camera farther away than the WiFi can reach or just want a better connection. The power cable that comes off of the Y cable will attach to the second wire that you will want to add also here and then cut it to length) With this camera, you will also need a wire for them like our Cat 5E cable or our cat 5E patch cable.

Once this camera is added to Pulse or Control it cannot be changed to the other platform again or reset. It will always be a camera for whichever one that it was added to.

The ADT dome Camera only requires a power source and a wireless (WiFi) connection to your internet. It is simple to add with a few steps to help connect it to your WiFi network. It works best with around 2Mbps upload speed per camera.

Tip: Check your speed at speedtest.net to be sure your internet upload speed is not too slow.

You can set these cameras to record on motion or other triggers. They can usually only record one 30-second clip every 1 minute. If you want longer recordings you should talk to us about getting an SVR, Network Video Recorder, and Dome Cameras

It comes with a wire that is around 6-10 feet long. If you want to power the camera inside the house as most do. You will need to add additional wire to it. I recommend a 50ft piece that you can get here and 2 of these wire connectors to crimp on the wires.

Also, if you wanted to get a junction box for it to hide wires or mount it to a wall you can get a wall bracket.
